My focus in photography has always been directed towards our natural world. We live in a society that, more and more, has isolated itself from the great outdoors. We have lost a wonderful source of relaxation and a beautiful place to release stress and recharge our batteries. My goal with this website is to lure you back into the places you wandered as a child. To feel the excitement of seeing that bird you've never seen before. To wander along trails and listen to the sounds of a mountain stream washing away the day to day stress in your life. To get you out early in the morning to see and hear the woods and fields waking up with the coming of the sun. While the iconic places like Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon are beautiful and awe inspiring, there are plenty of places close to home, perhaps even your own backyard that hold treasures that you never knew existed.
As part of this endeavor, I also offer group presentations on a number of outdoor and wildlife topics, Field and in-home photography workshops as well as fine art prints, note cards and a number of other products you can find by browsing through this website.

Thanks, JAckson, I am a minimalist when it comes to editing my work. Being there at the right time of day is everything. Most of these photographs have nothing more than cropping, slight adjustments of highlights and shadows, a little clarity and sharpening. The rest is just the beauty of the world we live in. Thanks for looking! Don
Wow.. What an excellent photography skills have you got. I am so amazed to see these photographs of which some looks so heavenly and out of the world. I think it’s the editing that has given that feel.
